9 to 5 The Musical, with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton and book by Patricia Resnick, is based on the seminal 1980 hit movie. Set in the late 1970s. this hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era is outrageous, thought-provoking and even a little romantic.

Pushed to the boiling point, three female coworkers concoct a plan to get even with the sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot they call their boss. In a hilarious turn of events, Violet, Judy and Doralee live out their wildest fantasy – giving their boss the boot! While Hart remains "otherwise engaged," the women give their workplace a dream makeover, taking control of the company that had always kept them down. Hey, a girl can scheme, can't she?

Why is the show rated PG-13?
The show’s humor and uplifting message make it enjoyable for many audiences, but the themes of harassment and revenge may not be suitable for younger children. Overall, 9 to 5: The Musical is a lively, empowering production that combines comedy, heart, and an important message. With its strong female leads, catchy songs, and themes of justice and change, it offers both entertainment and inspiration. However, we strongly recommend checking out the KOS Content Guide prior to purchasing tickets.
How much are the tickets & how can I buy them?
Tickets are $10 for Children (10 & Under) and $12 for Adults and can be purchased at the door using cash/check or online.

What time should I arrive?
Doors to the auditorium open 30 minutes before curtain (the showtime). Please feel free to come early to get settled, grab some concessions (cash only), and look through your program. ​​​

Where will my seats be?
There are no assigned seats so we recommend arriving at the start of doors opening for the best seats! Season Punch Card Holders will be let in before general admission ticket holders to secure the best seats.

What if I am late?
Our ushers will stay in the lobby for five minutes after the start of the show to allow for late arrivals to check in. You will not be allowed to enter the theater until the current song/scene is finished. Should you arrive more than five minutes after the start of the show, we can not honor your tickets. ​
